Shocking Footage Shows Instant Police Suffer Blade Attacks in Ambush
A ranking policeman that leaped to the aid of a colleague who was ambushed by a knife attacker has been awarded the Monarch's Honor for Valor.
Sgt Tim Ansell fought with twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Brown after he placed a knife to the throat of his colleague Sergeant Marc Foster.
Brown initiated the assault as the law enforcement personnel and their partner, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were talking to a driver following a traffic accident in that location in mid-2023.
Brown attacked with blade both Sgt Ansell and Sergeant Foster before Police Constable Wolstencroft stunned him with a electric weapon.

Officer-mounted and dashcam footage made public by the agency depicted Brown, wearing in dark clothing with a hood covering head, approach to Sergeant Foster from the rear with a blade extended.

This most recent honor comes after the three officers were granted organizational Bravery Awards in fall 2023 and the police federation award from the area union branch in spring 2024.
They additionally received a Area Courage Honor in mid-2024.
